The Neffati brothers, Jamil and Jamel, went viral recently for all the wrong reasons in their MMA bout with former World's Strongest Man, Eddie Hall.

Firstly, the Neffati brothers are identical twins and have almost 20 million followers on TikTok where they showcase their creative skills and dance moves. However, they became an even bigger hit after their 2-vs-one MMA bout against Eddie Hall

Neffati Brothers versus Eddie Hall

Jamil and Jamel, both weighing at approximately 143-pounds and standing at 5ft3, came up against “The Beast” Eddie Hall, who weighed 300-pounds and standing 6ft2.

The fight, coming under the promotion “World Freak Fight League”, was nothing but a farce, let's be honest. The Neffati brothers were running away for the majority of the fight, and Hall was the one pushing the action. Eventually, the 36-year-old Englishman managed to grab a hold of one of the brothers, and he slammed one of them down and then a split-second later connected with a brutal hook which knocked the other brother out cold which led to the fight being waved off by the referee.

Although this may have seemed like a bit of fun at the time, this fight received plenty of backlash from those within the combat sports community. A couple of the comments reacting to the viral clip read: “This is for those mma kids who think size doesn’t matter. There is a reason the sport is separated by weight class”, and “The two brothers fighting aren’t even fighters, they are influencers. Please don’t disrespect MMA”.

In reality, this was a highly dangerous bout with Hall outweighing his opponents by almost 200-pounds. So, the Neffati brothers are lucky they didn't get seriously hurt in all of these shenanigans.

Neffati Brothers to Fight in MMA Again?

After the fight against Hall, the Neffati twins have since stated that they do wish to have another MMA bout, only this time it will be more of a level playing field as far as the physical stats goes. The Neffati brothers want to have separate fights with someone that is around their height and weight.

While genuine MMA fans won't be tuning into the World Freak Fight League events, it does provide entertainment for those who follow social media influencers and content creators. Although MMA fans do not care about these bizarre fights, the majority of them would say they would prefer not to have these bouts happen in the first place as it makes the sport seem like a circus.
